$28K raised for surgical bed at SMCH; hospital thanks Trivia Night sponsors

LAKE CITY — The Stewart Memorial Auxiliary’s Trivia Night, held Feb. 22 at the Lake City Community Memorial Building, concluded with remarkable success, organizers said.

The event, which featured a combination of friendly competition and community engagement, raised $28,000 in support of the Auxiliary’s efforts to fund the donation of a new surgical bed for Stewart Memorial Community Hospital.

“We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of our community,” said Kristen Hall, an organizer of the event. “We are proud of the turnout and the team’s hard work in making this event a success.”

The funds raised will directly contribute to the purchase of a surgical bed, enhancing patient care and comfort at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital.

“I love seeing the community supporting the Stewart Memorial Community Hospital,” said Mollie Scott, volunteer coordinator. “It’s been a great team event.”
