Emily Hanson, nuclear medical technologist lead, was named the March Employee of the Month at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center.

She was nominated by Andrea Trushcheff, manager of Radiology.

Since UnityPoint Health – Trinity Heart Center opened last fall, Hanson has played a key role in seizing new opportunities for cardiac imaging for our patients.

“Emily has been involved in the development of new processes and nuclear medicine studies we weren’t able to perform before, which is amazing for our patients,” Trushcheff said. “She is very passionate about her work and provides a high-level of experience for patients.”

Trushcheff says Hanson holds herself to an extremely high standard in all she does — and volunteers for extra work to accommodate patients. She describes Hanson as going above and beyond for patients — and being their greatest advocate.
