I spend a lot of my time playing in the Dodger All-American Band and singing in Acapella. I am also involved in the National Honor Society.

2. What academic accomplishment are you most proud of?

I am proud of myself for spending the time and putting in extra effort in my classes to excel academically. I am currently one of the few high school seniors to still have a 4.0.

3. What’s your best piece of advice for younger students?

Don’t be afraid to try new activities or sports. Get as involved as you can and find out what makes you happier.

4. What is your go-to song or artist?

Right now, I am obsessed with “Love to Dream” by Doja Cat. Many of her songs are impeccable.

5. What is your favorite class or subject and why?

My favorite class would have to be band because I’ve learned so much about myself, and I get an opportunity to express myself through music. We are a huge family, and I wouldn’t be the same person without them. An honorable mention would have to be the Iowa Central Medical Terminology course. Thanks, Mrs. O’Leary for buying our class lunch on test review days and for making memorizing over 50 terms a week more tolerable.

6. What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is “Fractured” on Netflix.

7. If you could have dinner with someone famous, who would it be and why?

I would love to have dinner with Doja Cat because she seems to be eccentric, hilarious, and I think she could have a good time.

8. What are you working hardest on right now?

I spend a lot of time outside of school working hard on my classwork and studying to continue receiving good grades.

9. Who is your role model in life?

My role model would have to be Ruth Bader Ginsburg because she always spoke her mind and used her voice to help those who felt as if they were silenced.

10. What is your favorite memory from your time in Fort Dodge schools?

During my sophomore year, our high school band received an opportunity to visit Washington, D.C., to play music and see the monuments. I will never forget how much fun I had with some of my best friends.
