Mackenzie Conrad, then a freshman at Fort Dodge Senior High School, works on a poster in preparation for a fundraiser. Students in a Global Insights course taught by Dan Hansen and Dan Adams were trying to raise $1,000, some which is slated to go for aid for Darfur, and some for a local family in need. Students were also selling cookies, ribbons and raffle tickets (for the right to throw a pie at Adams) to raise money.
