Two Fort Dodge precinct polling places changed

Precincts 1, 12 to vote at new sites

Two precincts in Fort Dodge will have new polling locations for the city’s primary election Tuesday, according to the Webster County Auditor’s Office.

Precinct No. 1, which previously polled at Feelhaver Elementary School, will move its polling place to First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1611 Williams Drive. This precinct primarily includes residents in neighborhoods north of Soldier Creek.

Precinct No. 12, which previously polled at Trinity United Methodist Church, will move its polling place next week to Duncombe Elementary School, 1620 Sixth Ave. N. This precinct’s southern border at Second Avenue North goes north to Floral Avenue, east to North 25th Street and west to North 16th Street.

Voters in 2019 and future elections must show an acceptable photo ID to cast their ballot. The following are accepted IDs: Iowa driver’s license, Iowa non-operator ID, Iowa voter identification card, U.S. passport, U.S. military or veteran ID, tribal ID card or document.

Those who register on election day must also provide proof of residence.

Precinct 6: Elderbridge Agency, 308 Central Ave.

Precinct 7: Central Administration Center, 104 S. 17th St.

Precinct 8: Butler School, 945 S. 18th St.

Precinct 9: Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1023 S. 27th St.

Precinct 10: Fort Dodge Senior High School northwest entrance, 819 N. 25th St.

Precinct 11: Cooper School, 1523 N. 24th St.

Precinct 12: Duncombe School, 1620 Sixth Ave. N.
