A man sustained non-life-threatening injuries Sunday night after being run over or hit with a vehicle in the parking lot of McDonalds on Fifth Avenue South, according to Fort Dodge Police Department Lt. Don McLaren. The incident happened just before 10 p.m. on Sunday. McLaren said it appeared that the victim, an unnamed McDonald’s employee, was arriving at work when someone intentionally hit him with a vehicle and fled. Police did not have a clear description of the vehicle by press time on Sunday. The incident remains under investigation.
