Small blaze near Otho doused

An Otho firefighter uses a kind of water cannon mounted on top of a fire engine to extinguish burning material on the ground Friday afternoon at a Webster County farm. The fire at 2048 270th St. was reported at 1:35 p.m. It did not spread to any buildings, and no one was hurt. A Webster County sheriff’s deputy responded to the scene with Otho firefighters.
