Bricks fall from building

Bricks litter a part of the sidewalk in the 800 block of Central Avenue Thursday evening after they fell from high on the wall of the six-story building at 809 Central Ave. The rear window of the van was broken and the vehicle sustained other damage, but no one was injured. The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. Fort Dodge police closed the 800 block of Central Avenue as a precaution.
