WEBSTER CITY — Fall Festival is 1 to 4 p.m. SATURDAY in Wilson Brewer Park, 220 Ohio St. There will be live music, chainsaw artist, pumpkin painting, petting zoo, baking contest, prizes and giveaways.
HUMBOLDT — The 19th annual Pumpkins and Ponies is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. SATURDAY at Springvale Farm, 2603 Lone Tree Road, Humboldt. There will be pumpkins, wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, Dragonfire Dancing Horses performances, Nedd Freeley Funn Band on Saturday, Bad to the Bone on Sunday, pony rides, petting zoo, vintage gas engines/corn shelling demonstration, covered wagon rides, food and vendors. Admission and parking at free.
POCAHONTAS — PocaHAUNTus is TODAY and SATURDAY at the Pocahontas Fire Station, 300 N.W. Seventh St. A Lights On portion is from 6 to 7 p.m., which is friendlier for younger children as well as older adults. From 7 to 10 p.m. is Lights Off, which is the main experience for those who enjoy getting scared. Admission is $15, with $6 supporting the Pocahontas Chamber, $6 supporting the Pocahontas Fire Department and $3 supporting the Meals on Wheels program.
CLARE — Webster County Health Department is holding a COVID and Flu Shot Clinic from 1 to 1:30 p.m. TODAY at the Clare Public Library. Bring insurance cards, most medical insurance cards are accepted.

FORT DODGE — First United Methodist Church, 1002 First Ave. N., is holding a Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the church, enter on the west side, stairs or elevator. On Saturday items will be $4 per bag or half price on large items. All proceeds go to missions.
FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Area Quilters presents “Inspirations from the Heart” Quilt Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. A lunch of pulled pork sandwiches will be available for $10. Daily admission to the show is $10 or $15 for both days.
FORT DODGE — Daybreak Rotary Bowl of Chili and Jumbo Cinnamon Roll Supper is 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. SATURDAY at First Presbyterian Church, 1111 Fifth Ave. N. The supper is drive-thru only. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased at the door.
FORT DODGE — Webster County Conservation is holding Trick or Treating from 4 to 6 p.m. SATURDAY at Kennedy Park Campground, 1415 Nelson Ave., and Gypsum City OHV Campground, 2390 Mill Road. Campers are encouraged to decorate their site and hand out candy. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated campers. Non-perishable food items will be collected for local food banks and should be delivered to the campground hosts. This is the last weekend of the season for the campgrounds.
FORT DODGE — Lazy Ike Show and Get Together is 9 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the Matt Cosgrove River’s Edge Discovery Center, 20 N. First St. The show is free and open to the public. There will be a large variety of Lazy Ike lures that were made in Fort Dodge. Buy, sell, trade and free appraisals.
FORT DODGE — St. Edmond Catholic School annual Life Chain is noon to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 400 S. 13th St. Everyone is invited including other churches.
FORT DODGE — The first Angel Ride to Save the Tatas side-by-side ride is SATURDAY beginning at Rides Bar & Grill, 723 S. 31st St. Registration is 9 to 10:30 a.m. Driver registration is $15 and $5 per passenger. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. The stops are Rides Bar & Grill, Fort Dodge; Riverside Tap, Lehigh; Burt’s Dog House, Boxholm; Copperhead Saloon, Stratford; and Stumpy’s Bar & Grill, Duncombe. Money raised during the event will be used to benefit breast cancer patients in Fort Dodge and within a 75-mile radius of Fort Dodge.

FORT DODGE — A Pet Blessing will be held at 2 p.m. SUNDAY in the parking lot of Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St. Bring your leashed or caged pet to be blessed and a lawn chair for yourself. Freewill donations will be accepted to benefit Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa. Event is sponsored by Grace Lutheran Church and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
