LAKE CITY — Village Square Theatre of Lake City presents “Bless Me, Father” at 7 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY at the South Central Calhoun High School Auditorium, 708 W. Main, Lake City. Tickets are $10 at the door.

DAYTON — Dayton Lions Club Blue Mound Turkey Dinner is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the Dayton Community Center, Dayton. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under and free for preschoolers. A portion of the proceeds will go toward the event center.

FORT DODGE — The Friends of the Fort Dodge Public Library are holding a Magna Tile Building Day from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY for children and caregivers at the library, 424 Central Ave. No registration or fee is required.

FORT DODGE — 2024 Coats for Kids Drive-thru Distribution is 9 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge, 126 N. 10th St. Those in need of children’s coats can drive up to the front of the health center building, staff will come out to the vehicle to get the sizes needed and bring the coats to the vehicle.
