Six hurt in downtown FD blaze
Six people were injured in an early Sunday morning fire that ripped through the third floor of a downtown Fort Dodge building.
One woman was brought to safety down ladders by firefighters.
The blaze at 1107 Central Ave. was reported at 2:21 a.m.
The building next door at 1109 Central Ave. had to be evacuated.
It was the second significant fire in Fort Dodge over the weekend. The first was an arson blaze that gutted a vacant house at 702 N. 16th St. early Saturday morning.
