AutoZone Inc. confirmed Friday that they have purchased land and intend to build a new store as part of the Corridor Plaza project in Fort Dodge.

AutoZone, the leading retailer and distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories in the U.S., is coming to Fort Dodge’s Corridor Plaza.

“AutoZone has purchased land and intends on building and opening a store there,” said Buck Dwyer, Real Estate Development manager for AutoZone Inc.

Dwyer said a formal announcement of AutoZone’s new store was not available at the moment.

The store will be built just west of UnityPoint Express Care, according to real estate records.

AutoZone will join UnityPoint Express Care, Discount Tire, Teriyaki Madness, Clean Laundry, T-Mobile, Tidal Wave Auto Spa, Dunham’s Sporting Goods, Maurice’s, and Shoe Sensation in the new Corridor Plaza.

Construction continues on a new Chick-fil-A restaurant as well as the large sports pavilion, which are also part of the project.

Starting at $2.99/week.
