The Decker Truck Line Inc. display is featured during Lights at Kennedy 2021 at John F. Kennedy Memorial Park. Lights at Kennedy will open Dec. 6 for the annual holiday lighting event. In its 21st year, Lights at Kennedy will feature 35 displays, with the light show being choreographed to music played on 88.7 FM radio.

Both are over-the-road truck drivers that decided to come help while taking their 34 hour break.

A hoseline extends into the former Fair Oaks Middle School at 416 S. 10th St. while firefighters battle a blaze there in May. There was another fire there in June. The Fort Dodge City Council on Monday began the process of offering the building to a new developer.
