The Kenyon Road Bridge in Fort Dodge is expected to open near the end of December barring weather delays, according to Jenny Hoskiins, resident construction engineer for the Iowa Department of Transportation.

Crews from Jensen Builders Ltd., are constructing a new, large hangar at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport. The steel frame is up and siding is being put in place. Depending on the weather, the building could be done in February.

Hamilton County Deputy Sheriff Rod Hicok and Trooper Paul Gardner of the Iowa State Patrol pose with some of the toys that were donated to the Santa Cops program operated by the Hamilton County Peace Officers Association. The items were collected during a toy drive conducted by District 7 of the Iowa State Patrol.
