Two women escaped serious injury when this sport utility vehicle flipped onto its side Saturday night in the 1000 block of Williams Drive. The crash happened at about 10:20 p.m. The Ford Escape was southbound when it hit a parked car, pushing it into another parked car, then flipped onto its passenger side. The occupants of the vehicle were able to get out of it before help arrived. They were taken to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center by ambulance. The crash remains under investigation by Fort Dodge police. The Fort Dodge Fire Department and Webster County sheriff’s deputies also responded. A long section of Williams Drive was closed to traffic.
