HARCOURT — Faith Lutheran Church, Harcourt, is holding a Soup Lunch and Bake Sale from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. Chicken noodle soup, chili, vegetable beef soup, relishes, beverage and dessert will be served for a freewill donation.

DAKOTA CITY — Springvale Amateur Radio Club is holding a Winter Field Day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. SATURDAY across from 407 Fifth St. N. in Dakota City. Come watch amateur radio operators set up a field station and antennas, contact people around the world, operate voice, digital and morse code, test their equipment and abilities and practice emergency skills. Visitors are welcome to stop by, ask questions and learn about the exciting hobby of amateur radio. You may even have the opportunity to pick up a microphone and get on the air.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., is holding Kids Winter Craft Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the library. There will be winter craft kits, dot painting and magna tiles available while supplies last. An adult must accompany all children. There is no registration or fee.

FORT DODGE — Community Christian School 40th annual Pancake Breakfast is 7 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY at the school, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S. Advance tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets may be purchased by calling 515-573-3011. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults, $8 for children and free for children ages 2 and under free. All proceeds fund all athletic programs at CCS.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Pride Festival presents The Lyons Dynasty Show at 8 p.m. SATURDAY in The Cardiff Event Center at Fort Frenzy, 3232 First Ave. S. Doors open at 7 p.m. The show is hosted by Xander Frost Lyons. Advance general admission tickets are $20 and may be purchased on Eventbrite. General admission tickets at the door are $30. The show is for ages 21 and over.

FORT DODGE — The 515 Big Band will host a Jazz Concert at 7 p.m. TODAY at the Historic Phillips Auditorium, 1015 Fifth Ave. N. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 515 Big Band comprises some of the best jazz musicians in Iowa, with many headquartered in the Fort Dodge area. Tickets for adults are $15. Entry for students is free. Drinks are available to purchase at the event.
