HARCOURT — The Harcourt Activity Club is hosting a Valentine Concert at 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Harcourt Community Center. The Iowa Central Community College Band will perform. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Cake, ice cream, coffee and non alcoholic beverages will be served. A freewill donation will be accepted. Those attending are asked to RSVP to the Harcourt City Hall by calling 515-354-5341.

CLARION — Cupid’s Carnival is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at Clarion Goldfield Dows High School, Clarion. Tickets are $10 per child. There will be games, face painting, prizes and crafts. The carnival is a fundraiser for community projects.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — The Iowa Central Community College Music Department presents a Black History Month Concert at 7 p.m. TODAY at the Fort Museum Opera House, One Museum Road. The concert will feature the Jazz Band, Triton Singers, Encore Singers and Pop Voices. Admission is free, donations will benefit the Opera House.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Museum Opera House is holding a Valentine Sweetheart Gala from 7 to 10:30 p.m. SATURDAY at One Museum Road. The Brits, a tribute to the best of British 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock, will perform. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased by calling 515-573-4231 or by visiting: www.fortmuseumfv.com.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 3:30 p.m. SUNDAY in the Fort Dodge Middle School auditorium, 800 N. 32nd St. There is no admission charge as the concerts are provided by the City of Fort Dodge.

FORT DODGE — The Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 910 Third Ave. S., is holding an Artist Reception for Dave Jordano from 2 to 4:30 p.m. SATURDAY in the East Gallery. Jordano’s exhibit is entitled “Duck Blinds.” Refreshments will be served.

FORT DODGE — Good Shepherd Lutheran Church annual Endowment Committee Chili Feed and Talent Show begins at 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the church, 1436 21st Ave. N. Food will be served from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by the talent show. A freewill offering will be accepted.

FORT DODGE — For the Love of Pets will be held from noon to 7 p.m. TODAY and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY at the Almost Home Humane Society of North Central Iowa, 725 S. 32nd. St. Meet adoptable pets. Baked goods and baskets of pet supplies will be available to purchase.
