LIVERMORE — The Livermore Legion is holding a Soup Cookoff from 4 to 6 p.m. SUNDAY in the Livermore Legion basement, Livermore. The entry fee to enter a soup in the contest is $10 and those participating must have the soup at the Legion by 3:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per person for all the soups you care to sample. At 5:30 p.m., there will be a solo acoustic show with Kris Karr.

FORT DODGE — Eggs & Issues Legislative Forum is 8:30 to 10 a.m. SATURDAY in the Bioscience and Health Sciences Auditorium on the Iowa Central Community College campus. The forum is free.

FORT DODGE — Fort Museum Opera House Vendor/Flea Market Fundraiser is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY at One Museum Road. Food will be available.

FORT DODGE — Webster County Conservation Board is holding a Shed Antler Showcase from 10 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at Camp WaNoKi Park, 2400 WaNoKi Camp Road. There will be antler hunting on your own all day. This program is free.

FORT DODGE — A benefit for Cindy Warden-Epler begins at 4 p.m. SATURDAY at Rides Banquet Center, 725 S. 31st St. Warden-Epler was diagnosed with Stage II Triple Negative Breast Cancer last summer. The benefit will assist with expenses related to her treatment and recovery.

FORT DODGE — Dayton Wranglers Saddle Club and Pony Express Riders of Iowa present the Pony Express Dance SATURDAY at Crossroads Event Center, formerly the Starlite, 1518 Third Ave. N.W. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight. There will be live and silent auctions and a raffle. Jesse and The Medicine Men will perform. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children ages 16 and under.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Area Symphony presents “Best of Broadway” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Fort Dodge Middle School Auditorium, 800 N. 32nd St. The Honors preconcert recital begins at 2:25 p.m. Adult admission is $15 and students are admitted free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or at Rieman Music, 1024 Central Ave.

FORT DODGE — The Rifle and Pistol Club of Fort Dodge 50th annual Gun Show is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Admission is $10 per person and free for children ages 14 and under.

FORT DODGE — The Webster County Historical Society will hold a box social from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. TODAY at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave. You can decorate your box to show off your favorite Webster County community.
