Crash closes street temporarily

A Dodge Charger and a Dodge Durango collided at First Avenue North and 11th Street at about 2 p.m. Tuesday. When police and firefighters arrived, the driver of the Charger was laying on the sidewalk. He was checked at the scene by paramedics, but declined to go to the hospital. The crash closed First Avenue North between 10th and 12th Streets. It remained under investigation by Fort Dodge police Tuesday afternoon.
