Fort Dodge firefighters and paramedics begin tending to a man who was thrown from his moped when it collided with a car Monday evening on the west side of Fort Dodge. Police Lt. Matt Lundberg said the moped had turned onto A Street West from U.S. Highway 169 when it was struck by a Pontiac sedan that was northbound on A Street West. He said the Pontiac pulled out around two other northbound cars that were stopped at the stop sign before colliding with the moped. The driver of the moped was taken to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center suffering from multiple injuries.
