No one was injured in a fire at 1524 Fourth Ave. N. Wednesday afternoon.

The fire, reported at about 3:30 p.m., created a cloud of smoke over the neighborhood near Duncombe Elementary School.

The fire destroyed a small detached garage, caused extensive damage to the house, plus minor damage to the house and garage immediately to the west.
