DAYTON — Dayton Lions Club Roast Beef Dinner is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the Dayton Community Center. Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 12 and under and free for preschoolers.

WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library, Webster City, is hosting historian Jeff Stein at 3 p.m. SATURDAY at the library. Stein’s presentation is “Where’s Floppy? Celebrating an Iowa Television Icon.”

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. TODAY at Holy Trinity Parish Center, 405 N. Eighth St. Dinners include fried fish, baked fish, shrimp or grilled cheese served with baked potato or French fries, coleslaw, roll, ice cream and beverages. The meal will be served dine in or carryout. Tickets for fried fish, baked fish or shrimp are $12, combo meal of fish and shrimp is $14, grilled cheese or kid’s portion is $6 for children ages 12 and under. No credit cards will be accepted.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Area Symphony Concert is 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Fort Dodge Middle School Auditorium, 800 N. 32nd St. There will be a Youth Honors pre-concert recital at 2:25 p.m. Admission is by season membership or $15 at the door. Students and children are free when accompanied by an adult.

FORT DODGE — OneVision Thrift Store, 12 N. 25th St., is holding its new ValueQuest Rewards Club Launch Party from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. SATURDAY at the store. There will be door prizes, promotional gifts, food and drinks and members can earn double loyalty points.

FORT DODGE — The 15th annual Fur Ball is 5 p.m. SATURDAY at the Laramar Ballroom, 710 First Ave. N. There will be live music by Maurice Jule, live and silent auctions, food and vendors. Tickets are $20 in advance and may be purchased at Hy-Vee. Tickets at the door are $25.
