UnityPoint Clinic Orthopedics — Fort Dodge will host a free Bone and Joint Q&A Workshop from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m today at UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center in Conference Center 2.

This informal, come and go event gives the community an opportunity to meet orthopedic providers and the physical therapy team, and learn about surgical and non-surgical treatment options for their bone and joint pain.

The providers will explain what arthritis is, its causes, their general treatment approach, and a typical surgery and recovery timeline. Exam tables will be available if individuals are interested in a brief assessment of their pain.
