The Blanden Memorial Art Museum will host an informational meeting on becoming a volunteer docent.

The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the museum, 920 Third Ave. S.

Docents are community members who lead tours for area schools, businesses, and institutions. The Blanden is looking to add 10 enthusiastic volunteers to be cultural stewards from our community. This is a great opportunity for community members who want to make an impact but have limited time to commit.

You do not need to know about art to be a docent, you just need a passion for teaching or relating history to the next generation.
