Storyteller August Green will be at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., at 6 p.m. on Monday. Green is a talker by nature and a storyteller by trade, with a unique blend of humor, energy, and relatability. He’s been called “a modern-day Andy Griffith with a twist of Garrison Keillor.”

Green has developed a distinctive style that combines traditional storytelling methods steeped in Southern tradition while seasoning the pot with a distinctively Midwestern attitude.
