GOWRIE — Gowrie United Methodist Church will hold a May basket sale from 7:30 to 11 a.m. SATURDAY.

FONDA — “Songs of Faith and Inspiration” will be held at 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Fonda Arts Center. Daniel Keen and Larry Heschke will perform. Admission and refreshments are free.

FORT DODGE — Eggs & Issues Legislative Forum is 8:30 to 10 a.m. SATURDAY in the BHS Auditorium on the Iowa Central Community College campus. The forum is free.

FORT DODGE — Otho Fire and Rescue Ball is 5 p.m. to midnight SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Highway 169. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. and the auction will start at 6 p.m. Adult tickets are $10 and children’s tickets are $5.

FORT DODGE — St. Paul Lutheran Church, 400 S 13th St., will hold a craft and bake sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY. Taco salad or walking taco, bars with refreshment lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a freewill donation.

FORT DODGE — Epworth UMC luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. SUNDAY at Epworth United Methodist Church, 2025 11th Ave. S. Loose-meat sandwiches, salads, dessert and drink for a freewill offering.

FORT DODGE — The Karl L. King Municipal Band will hold its final indoor concert for the season at 3:30 p.m. SUNDAY in the Fort Dodge Middle School auditorium, 800 N. 32nd St. Admission is free.
