SOMERS — Marion O. Moeller, 86, passed away Wednes­day, February 1, 2017 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in

Fort Dodge.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 4, 2017 at United Methodist Church, Somers with Pastor Dave Kruse officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Cemetery, Rinard. Friends may call after 4:00 pm Friday (TODAY) at the United Methodist Church, Somers. Palmer Swank Funeral Home is in charge of the services.

He is survived by his wife, Doris of Somers; daughter, Patricia Wyatt of Dexter; son, Roy (Robin) Moeller of Greenfield; daughter, Pauline (David) Wienhold of Manson; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Moeller of Somers; 5 grandchildren: Ryan (Melissa) Wyatt, Jen (David) Corell, Jody (Mike Shiflett) Wienhold, Chris (Allison) Wienhold, JoAnna (Tyson) Saxton, 13 great grandchildren and sister-in-law, Virginia Moeller of Fort Dodge.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Minnie (Miller) Moeller; son, Jay Moeller; son-in-law, Lynn Wyatt; brothers: Charles, Eugene, and Donald, and sister, Gladys Walker.

Marion O. Moeller was born March 27, 1930 at Somers and graduated from Somers High School in 1948. Marion was united in marriage with Doris Ross on September 3, 1950 at Somers. He farmed and operated a dairy in the Somers area all his life.

Marion was a member of the United Methodist Church, Somers, Dairy Associates and Mid America Dairy Associates. He served on Calhoun County Fair Board for 15 years and a 4-H leader for 10 years.
