MARK KILMER (MARKO)

Mark Kilmer (Marko), 49, of Fort Dodge lost his fight with leukemia on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Mark a 1986 graduate of Fort Dodge High School, had spent the last several years living in Leota, MN. He worked construction and spent the summer months traveling with McDermott shows. He enjoyed being outdoors and traveling from town to town to meet new people and renew friendships from previous years.

Mark is survived by his companion of several years Sheila Kenny; his parents John and Barb Kilmer of Fort Dodge; his sister Debbie (Gerry) Vannoni of Waterloo, IA; his brothers Mike (Michele) Kilmer of Whitesburg, GA, and Paul (Deb) Gray of Fort Dodge and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his nephews Keith Michael Kilmer and Christopher Vannoni.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
