Francis Ferry, 83, of Fort Dodge died on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. Francis will be cremated and a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Corpus Christi Church. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted with Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Francis was born in Iowa City, IA on January 5, 1935 to Callin and Mildred (Butrick) Ferry. He married Alberta Mumper on October 17, 1956 in Ottawa, KS. They then moved to Fort Dodge where they spent most of their life. He was employed 43 years with USG. Francis was a Harley enthusiast and a member of ABATE, he was a talented artist and played guitar. He most enjoyed time spent with family, especially his little people.

Francis is survived by his children Mike (Randy) Ferry of Des Moines, Pat (Tammy) Ferry of Fort Dodge, Kelly Ferry of Gowrie, Kevin (Mary Catherine) Ferry of Badger and Candy (James) Lund of Kingston, WA; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; his siblings Patty Tattoli, Jean (Frank) Rosalez, Dan (Pam) Ferry, and sister-in-law Julie Ferry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Alberta; his siblings Reyburn, Mitchell, Rodney, Carol, David and infant brother Lucius and his granddaughters Alissa and April.
