LISA JONES

Lisa Jones, 33, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. A Celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at a later date. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Survivors include her husband Dustin Jones of Fort Dodge and daughter Faith Jones, father Dennis Jones and his wife Lisa of Otho, stepfather Leo J.R. Johnson of Fort Dodge, siblings Brookes, Jeff, Justin, David, Kirstie, Gabby, Gina, Nicole and Kearstin and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Denise (Beadle) Johnson. Lisa Marie Jones was born on August 5, 1986, in Fort Dodge where she was raised and educated. She later received her Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. On April 12, 2006, she was united in marriage to Dustin Jones. As Dustin served in the U.S. military the couple made their home in Hawaii, Tennessee and short stays in North Carolina and Texas. They moved to Fort Dodge in 2013. Lisa enjoyed making jewelry, crafts, listening to music, gardening, flowers and being outdoors. She had a big heart and was very strong willed. Spending time with family was very important to Lisa. She loved her daughter Faith more than anything. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
