CURTIS JAY JOHNSON

Curtis Jay Johnson, 62, Grapevine, Texas, died Sept. 8, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital under Hospice care for lung cancer.

Curtis, the son of Russell and Evelyn Johnson, was born on May 15, 1960, in Hays, Kansas. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1978. He was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. During the “90’s” he was a goose hunting guide in Texas. He has owned Johnson Custom Floors for 16 years. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was comforted by his faith as the end drew near and never waived.

Surviving him are his children Nicholas, Michael and Samilyn and husband Simon and granddaughter Olive; his parents and brother Scott and wife Hope; niece Emelia; nephews Caleb and Greg; many cousins and friends. His brother Jeff is deceased.

A celebration of Curtis’s life was held in Texas.
