BRANDON STEWART

Brandon Stewart, 32, of Fort Dodge passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, due to a tragic accident. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Trinity United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Brandon was born in Fort Dodge on June 17, 1991, to Robert Mitchell and Shelli Stewart. He grew up in Fort Dodge, graduating from High School in 2009. He lived in the Fort Dodge area working for Hovey Construction, Clark Construction, B&E Construction and most recently USG and C.J. Bio. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In his younger years he really enjoyed wrestling. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, watching sports, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers and loved spending time with his fur baby Charmander. Wherever Brandon went, Charmander was by his side.

Brandon is survived by his dad Robert Mitchell Jr. of Adel, IA; siblings Rhiannon (Justin) Patterson of Duncombe, IA, Robb (Joanna) Mitchell of Webster City, IA, Lindy Mitchell (Mike Sittig) of Fort Dodge and Landon Griffin of Blairsburg, IA; nieces and nephews Trey and Tytrell Mosley, Delaney Sittig, Elizabeth and Arch Patterson and Ryder Mitchell along with numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother Shelli; grandparents Doris and Orlo Stewart, Robert and Mary Lou Mitchell and great-aunt and uncle Donna and Jake Potter.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family or to Almost Home Animal Shelter.
