Aaron Peterson

Aaron J Peterson, 63, of Calabash (N. Myrtle Beach) North Carolina, died suddenly on October 31, 2023. He was the son of deceased parents Mary and Cecil Peterson of Fort Dodge, Iowa and is survived by brothers Gary Peterson of Flowery Branch, Ga; Conrad Peterson of Fort Dodge, Iowa; and Brian Peterson of Iowa City, Iowa, and sisters Cecile Kjos of Ypsilanti, Michigan; Jan Tepfer of Oakwood, Georgia; Joy Jenkins of Las Vegas, Nevada; Linda Stuber of Des Moines, Iowa; and Theresa Giesing of St. Louis, Mo. Brother Eric preceded Aaron in Death.

Aaron grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and shortly after graduation from Fort Dodge High, set out to achieve his fortunes in Myrtle Beach, S.C. where he was a real estate agent and developer with several friends from Iowa. Aaron never married, but so loved his many nieces and nephews, and was a favorite uncle for most of them. He was also very much loved by his Myrtle beach “family” and he treasured their relationships. He treated the kids like his own and was always ready to spend precious time with them.

Aaron was a devoted Christian, always willing to share his faith in Jesus to anyone he met. No doubt, he was warmly welcomed by his Saviour as he transitioned from this world to his final reward.

No formal services are planned for now, but there will be a memorial get together with both families at a later time.
