Brett Newland passed away January 19, 2024, in Iowa. Born February 15, 1971. Brett met the love of his life, Laura, and they were married on October 31, 2014.
Brett is survived by his loving wife Laura (Iowa), parents Larry & Caryll Newland (Northfield), brother Kelly (Diana) (Indiana), daughter Cora Isabelle Fluharty (Iowa), grandma Evelyn Newland (Mora), stepdaughters Xanadu (Brandon) Weaver, Brittany (Austin) Ebner, and 3 grandchildren. Brett is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, sister and brothers-in-law, cousins, and numerous friends.
Brett was preceded in death by brothers Jared and Samuel, grandparents Monroe Newland and Thomas & Irene Thompson, uncles Wayne & Ross Thompson, Jim Newland, aunt Marlys Hanson, mother and father-in-law Daniel & Vicky Klinger, brother-in-law Daniel Klinger and sister-in-law Diann Klinger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Minnesota Valley Church, 16075 Hawthorn Path, Lakeville, MN, on March 16 at 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior. A luncheon will be served following the service.
Iowa Celebration of Life (luncheon) will be held on April 6th at 1:00 pm in the Community Center at 319 Garfield St., Rolfe, IA 50581.
