Bonnie Croonquist
Bonnie Mae Croonquist, 86, of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Marian Home.
A service honoring Bonnie’s life will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 25, at First Covenant Church, with Pastor Allan Redenius officiating. The visitation is from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the Federated Garden Club of Fort Dodge.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Alan; children, Jeff (Theresa) Croonquist, Pam (Johnny) Neill, and Scott (Angela) Croonquist; her daughter-in-law Patty Croonquist; 11 grandchildren, Jenny, Nick, Hannah, Alexandria, Seth, Arlo, Aleta, Bronson, Colin, Carter, and Caitlin; and two great grandchildren, Varyk and Evey. She was preceded in death by her son Mark, her parents, and her siblings, Alfred Fett, Lela Richardson, Vera Fish, Bill Fett, Don Fett, Etta Artzer, Doris Stewart, Jim Fett, Fleda Fett, Richard Fett, and Darrell Fett; and siblings in infancy, Bernadean, Frederick and Linda Kay.
Bonnie Mae Fett, the daughter of Forest F. and Ruby Fern (Santee) Fett, was born April 15, 1938, in LuVerne, Iowa. She attended school in LuVerne. On June 22, 1957, Bonnie was united in marriage to Alan Croonquist in Moorland. Bonnie enjoyed gardening, ceramics, quilting, sewing and was active with the Federated Garden Club in Fort Dodge and First Covenant Church, where she worked to establish at daycare center. She especially treasured time spent with her family. Bonnie’s love for trees was reflected in her tradition of planting a new tree in honor of each of her grandchildren on the family farm.
