Mark Croonquist
Mark Croonquist, 65, of Moorland passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Trinity Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with burial following at Fulton Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Mark was born in Fort Dodge on November 16, 1958, to Alan and Bonnie (Fett) Croonquist. He grew up in the Moorland area and graduated from Prairie High School and Iowa Central Community College. In 1984 he was united in marriage to Patty Nelson at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Fort Dodge. Over the years Mark worked for Walt’s Frame and Alignment and for United Parcel Service until he retired, he always helped farm before and after retirement. He enjoyed farming, attending the tractor ride with his son and cousins and gardening. Mark also loved spending time with children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mark is survived by his children Jenny (Josh) Holmes and Nick Croonquist; grandchildren Varyk and Evey Holmes; his parents Alan and Bonnie Croonquist; siblings Jeff (Theresa) Croonquist, Pam (Johnny) Neill and Scott (Angela) Croonquist; nieces and nephews Hannah (Alex) Hanson, Alexandria Croonquist, Seth Croonquist, Arlo (Laura) Neill, Aleta (Nick) Miles, Bronson Neill, Colin Croonquist, Carter (Emerald) Croonquist and Caitlin Croonquist.
Memorials may be left to the Moorland Fire Department.
