Richard Beisch
Richard J. Beisch, 95, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Bickford Assisted Living of West Des Moines.
Graveside services will be at a later date. Laufersweiler Funeral Home is serving the family.
Richard was born September 20, 1929, in Burt, Iowa to Edward and Susan (Peffer) Beisch. After graduation from Algona High School, Dick enlisted in the United States Army, serving in Korea. After his honorable discharge, Dick found work as a mechanic for Shimkat Motor Company and made Fort Dodge his home. He retired after almost 40 years. In 1972, Richard was united in marriage to Katheryn Henslin Stacks.
Richard is survived by his son John (Roxanne) Beisch of West Des Moines.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Katheryn in 2008.
