Gunner Chada

Gunner F. Chada, 21, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, in Fort Dodge.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22nd in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors include his parents Kelly and Dean Chada of Fort Dodge, aunts Roxie (Doug) Phillips of Fort Dodge, Shelly (Jerry) Harrison of Fort Dodge, Trent (Bobbie) Harrison of Fort Dodge, Stephanie (Brandon) Harrison of Muscatine, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Benny and Joann Harrison, and Don and Harlene Chada, aunts Rhonda Klinger and Mona Dillard.
Gunner Franklin Chada was born on February 4, 2004, in Storm Lake. He was raised and educated in Fort Dodge attending Dodger Pre-School, St. Edmonds, Community Christian School and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 2021. He then attended and graduated from Iowa Central Community College Auto Body Program. Gunner loved to work on his car and helping his dad restore cars at their family shop. He was an avid Transformer collector, movie fan, and comic cons. Gunner was self-taught on playing the drums and the guitar. Gunner had a quietness and gentleness about him, that will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
