Harold Jones
Harold “Wimpy” Jones, 83, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Harold wishes to be cremated and no services. Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements.
Harold Dwane Jones, the son of Henry and Fern (Williams) Jones was born April 9, 1941, in Fort Dodge. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1960 and was united in marriage to Lillian Partello.
Harold worked for Whelchel-Linder Body Shop and in his retirement, he worked at Al's Auto Repair.
Harold is survived by his wife, Lillian; his four children, Debra Jones of Otho, Susan (Mitch) Ewing of Fort Dodge, Dennis (Lisa) Jones of Otho, and Jodi (John) Cerwick of Fort Dodge. Harold most enjoyed visits from his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Mary (Chris) Cerwick of Fort Dodge, and sister-in-law Virginia Jones of Fort Dodge.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Lisa Jones, and his brother John.
