Linda Palmer

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, from 12 p.m. noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held at later date at Corpus Christi Cemetery.

Linda Jean Bass was born August 23, 1949, in Fort Dodge. She attended school in Otho. Linda was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Palmer Jr. in 1965. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked various jobs over the years but caring for children, babysitting and dog sitting was what she valued most. She was “Grandma Linda” to many. Linda cherished time with her family.

Linda is survived by her son Luke (Amy) Palmer, of Fort Dodge; daughter Venessa (Chad) Cayler of Farnhamville; grandchildren Dillon, Josh, Jackson and Chloe Palmer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2013, parents Charles and Bonnie (Clark) Bass, brothers Clifford and Jason Bass, and her sister Debbie (Bass) Michalski.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the charitable discretion of the family.
