Dale Faiferick

Dale R. Faiferlick, 96, of Fort Dodge, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Simpson Health Center, Friendship Haven.
There will be a visitation from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday April 16, 2025, at Holy Trinity Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery.
Dale is survived by his children Larry (Frieda) Faiferlick of Lincoln, NE, Rick Faiferlick of Yakima, WA, Matt (Roberta) Faiferlick of Des Moines, Kathy Faiferlick of Iowa; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister Fern Clabough of Story City; brothers Mark Faiferlick, Lyle Faiferlick both of Fort Dodge, and many nieces and nephews.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Grace (McMahon) Faiferlick; daughter, Janelle Faiferlick; grandson, Chad; and siblings, Owen, Lois, Neil, and Avis.
Dale Richard Faiferlick was born on March 22, 1929, in Fort Dodge. He was raised and educated in the Fort Dodge area, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1947. Dale served during the Korean War in Germany. In 1956, he was united in marriage to Wanda Jones and the couple lived in Clare and then Wisconsin until establishing their home in Rural Dayton in 1960. The couple later divorced. Dale farmed and also worked for the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad.
