Norma Hoag
Norma Hoag, 96, formerly of Manson, died March 30, 2025, at the Simpson Center of Friendship Haven. Memorial service and burial will be held in September. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services are entrusted with the arrangements.
Norma Kathryn Moline, daughter of E. Harold and Kathryn (Onnen) Moline, was born on January 11, 1929, in Knierim, Iowa. She was a 1946 graduate of Manson High School. On July 9, 1950, Norma married J. Milton Hoag. Norma was a teacher and homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, playing cards, reading and collecting antiques. She was a great cook and was active helping her husband farm. Norma was an active member of Augustana Lutheran Church and PEO in Manson. The couple enjoyed their winters in AZ for more than 20 years.Norma moved to Friendship Haven in 2017.
Survivors include daughters Cathy Hoag, Gloria Fishman of Columbia, MO, and Rita (Rod) Bentzinger of Puerto Lopez, Ecuador; her grandchildren Jason (Nicole) Hoag, Jeff (Nerissa) Hoag, Kathryn Fishman-Weaver (Chris), Kelsey Fishman, John (Sarah) Bonar, and Joe Bonar; great grandchildren Allison and Cameron Hoag, Owen and Michael Hoag, James and Lilah Weaver and Elodie Bonar. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Milt in 2006, son Loren in 2010, her son-in-law Lenny Fishman, siblings Jim Moline, Peg Fey, and Mary Jean Birkey.
