To the editor:

As most of you here in House District 9 know, I will not be seeking re-election to the seat in the Iowa House of Representatives that I have held for the past 16 years. Many have asked me who my choice would be and so, here goes. My choice is Megan Srinivas and the reasons are simple.

She is young, she is dynamic, she is intelligent, and she grew up right here in Fort Dodge. Her voice is one that is and will be respected and influential among her fellow legislators and others. The voice that we send to represent us will determine the type and amount of representation we get. Megan is the right choice for the job.

Please join me in voting for Megan on or before Nov. 6.
