To the editor:

I’m telling folks to re-elect Mark Campbell to the Webster County Board of Supervisors. I worked with him on the board and I can’t say enough about how much he’s done for us over the last 12 years.

One of the biggest parts of the job is keeping the budget in line and Mark’s been great at working with department heads to make sure it’s where it needs to be while still keeping taxpayers in mind. I didn’t have to deal with the new budget restrictions, but Mark did and he made sure we followed the new rules and showed the state legislature that we were onboard.

We need the right people in these jobs and you won’t find anyone better for the Board of Supervisors than Mark Campbell, I know that firsthand. He’s always been the right guy for the job and he absolutely is now.

I’ll also be voting for Krystal Lloyd for Webster County auditor and I think others should too. In my years as a county supervisor, I’ve worked closely with Krystal, especially when it comes to her work as drainage clerk. She’s even the drainage clerk liaison for the Iowa Drainage District Association board, which means Webster County’s got a voice across the state. With over 350 drainage districts in the state, she’s been a big help making sure they all get the attention they need. That’s a real plus for us farmers.

The Auditor’s Office does a lot of different things, and Krystal knows them all. She’s been the real estate clerk, and she’s even SEAT III certified for election work.

I hope you’ll join me in voting for Krystal Lloyd for Webster County auditor.
