If it’s not broken, don’t fix it
To the editor:
There is a quote about change being good. I truly believe that is true, if the change is needed. When it comes to county supervisor, Mark Campbell is the best candidate and an example of don’t fix it if it’s not broken.
As a lifelong Fort Dodge resident and family business owner, I have spent decades working on city and county committees and boards. I try to stay involved in what is going on and I can honestly say, I have never met a more qualified supervisor than Mark Campbell. It takes years for a person to gain knowledge and experience in both business and government.
Mark Campbell is an elected official that gets things done, follows through and helps to support positive change. I have personally called Mark with questions from gravel roads, tax credits, tax abatements, and available county and state business incentives. Mark is well connected and knows what is going on. I’ve never had to call him twice. If he is unable to answer the phone, he always returns my call. Mark is very prepared and well-spoken in committee or board meetings and he does not waste time. I would like to wish Mark all the best in his future success.
