The Iowa Central women picked up a 72-41 victory over Graceland JV here this past Friday night inside Hodges Fieldhouse.

Kayla Johns-McGarity scored 15 points with nine rebounds, four steals and two blocks to lead the way for the Tritons, as Leela Jones added 13 points.

Former Fort Dodge Senior High standout Lainey Maehl — one of three returning sophomores for Iowa Central — added nine points, as did fellow sophomore Olivia Miller.

Next action for the Tritons will be this Friday and Saturday when they play Metropolitan and Haskell Indian Nations JV in Kansas City, Mo.
