O’Connor with tentative state diving spot
WAUKEE — Delaney O’Connor secured a trip to state in diving here Thursday night.
O’Connor, a senior for Fort Dodge, scored 309.1 points to place 31st at regionals. The tentative list of qualifiers was released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
Algona’s Reese Taylor also advanced, as she recorded the seventh-most points with 427.95.
Swimming regionals will take place Saturday in Ames.
