INDIANOLA — The Iowa Central women’s wrestling team took part in the Luther Hill Invitational here Saturday.

The field included a number of four-year programs, including the University of Iowa.

Delise Villa and Annabelle Petsinger each placed second for the Tritons, with Kammie Schanz going 6-2 to finish fourth and Lacey Reed placing fifth.

Petsinger won her first three bouts by fall before dropping a 12-11 decision to Simpson’s Ashley Cannon at 124 pounds. Villa also marched to the finals, placing second at 160 after a 7-4 loss to Simpson’s Breanna Wier.

Iowa Central competes on Saturday in Decorah at the Luther Open.
