Dodgers bowl at IAC bowling meet
DES MOINES — The Fort Dodge girls bowling team competed in the Iowa Alliance Conference tournament on Tuesday.
The Dodgers shot a 2,023 and finished eighth.
Sammantha Welter led the Dodgers with a 492 series, where they rolled three games.
Kaitlyn Folsom shot a 467. Also competing for the Dodgers were Calli Graves (446), Gabby Santanna-Bass (348), Samantha Anderson (319) and Felicity Strain (254).
“In bakers we had a high game of 223, but we were inconsistent the rest of the way,” said Fort Dodge co-head coach Nick Vinson. “This was the second highest score of the season.
“We have to find a way to be consistent.”
The Dodgers are back in action on Monday when they compete in districts in Newton.
