CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The Iowa Central women’s bowling team added another honor to the trophy case, securing a runner-up finish here at the NJCAA National Tournament.

The Tritons finished with a score of 12,427, as Rock Valley won it all with 12,780. Libby Leach was sixth in the all-events individual standings, Jade Wilcox placed 12th and Madison Ninneman was 16th.

“When Libby first arrived on campus I remember telling her she had what it takes to become an All-American,” ICCC head coach Gregg Haden said. “Through the trials and tribulations, she endured. Those talks became a reality this past weekend. Libby has been a great student athlete these past two years, buying into our program and the desire to succeed paid off.”

Rock Valley’s Madison Davenport claimed top honors. Iowa Western won the men’s team title with Allen Stauffer scoring individual gold for the Reivers.

Leach was the national runner-up in singles with a score of 639, finishing just 14 pins behind Joliet’s Madi Love. Wilcox placed eighth in singles and Ninneman was 19th.

Alexa Klaasen and Wilcox were the top finishers in doubles for Iowa Central, placing 10th overall. Kellogg’s Brooklyn Page and Isabella Thomas were national champions.

Leach and the Triton team both earned All-American status. Leach will be spending the 2025-26 season as a volunteer coach with Iowa Central bowling.
